Excellent 5 /5What a wonderful surprise! As high as our expectations were, they were exceeded. We had such a warm welcome from Señora Daniela, a beautiful and delicious fruit tart and a bottle of Proseco...and a surprisingly well-equipped kitchen and dining room. All in all, we wanted for almost nothing. We came equipped with a Cordon Bleu chef and even he was surprised and delighted (only wishing he had brought his knives!). The house had everything one would wish for...beautiful fresh flowers throughout...fresh herbs in the gardens....fresh eggs in ample supply from the señora...home-made olive oil...a dream. Believe in the pictures on the internet...very accurate portrayal of a lovely villa. Wonderful location...just carefully heed the directions when first arriving. I think it important to have a car, but even still, we ventured to Siena by bus...a bit of an adventure but in the end, fun. Cautions? There is a little store just up the road with a couple of very nasty women working there. Very nasty. Beautiful foodstuffs albeit very expensive. We found our way to the local supermarket, Conads...and it was great and they had everything we needed and after speaking with Daniela we found our way with ease. We shall return!
