Trullo Cristiana is located in the open countryside of San Michele Salentino, in a lot of about an acre, and is surrounded by expanses of olive trees and fruit trees. In the garden there is a large (15m x 4m) and beautiful swimming pool with sun terrace. The house is in a very quiet position, though easily accessible by car/motorcycle by a paved country road of about a mile, connecting to the road Latiano / San Michele Salentino (which is the nearest village, about 7 km).
On the exterior of the house, there is a wide court of ancient stone on one side, featuring a large gazebo with a stone table with benches, sitting 10/12 people. On the other side of the house there is a smaller gazebo, also equipped with a stone table, sitting 4/6 people.
The house, normally used by the owners, is approximately 120sqm and has seven / nine beds. The house consists of two parts:
– An ancient part, completely restored, composed of a 6-cone trullo and a ‘lamia’ with vaulted ceiling. On the outside are a stone oven (which is normally used) and a utility room. This part of the house includes a double bedroom, a bedroom with a sofa bed (queen size), a study, a bathroom (with shower, toilet, sink and bidet), a small room with a sofa bed (for one person), a large dining and living room with fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, electric oven, 5 burner gas stove, large fridge with freezer, etc.)
– A new part, adjoining but independent, consisting of a ground floor and a mezzanine. This part has two double bedrooms, one bathroom (with bath, shower, double sink, toilet and bidet), a living room with TV and HD DVD (access to SKY available with tenant’s card), a utility room with washing machine, a balcony and a terrace. Large windows and French doors overlook the pool and garden.
The house is particularly suitable for two families with children or couples / groups of friends who want to share the holiday, though having independent spaces.
