Villa Margherita is a beautiful detached stone villa ideal for those looking for complete privacy. Its 100 year old pale grey stone walls and terracotta roof are typically Tuscan in style and it is set in a large garden containing olive and fruit trees with a lovely private swimming pool (normally in use May-Sep) and a barbecue.

From its terrace you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Florentine hills.

Horseriding is also available nearby (payable locally). The nearest village, San Donato, is just 800m away and the larger village of Reggello is 4 miles (6km) away. With a direct train service operating from St Ellero, 4 miles (6km) away, Villa Margherita is ideally located for visits to Florence and the Arezzo region.

There is also a restaurant at the Fattoria Usignoli, 600m away.

There are three double bedrooms and one twin and many of the rooms feature wrought iron beds and antique walnut wardrobes. The master bedroom has an open fireplace and an ensuite shower room.

A flight of stairs leads to the entrance door and into a large lounge with a television and cosy sofas and armchairs clustered around the fireplace. The separate dining room opens out onto a balcony with table and chairs where you can eat al fresco. The stylish kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer, oven/grill, 4-ring hob and dishwasher.
