Superb accommodation in a marvellous part of Tuscany. Castiglione is a hidden gem with so much going on. Only negative was quality of wi fi, but we survived!
San Sigismondo is a wonderful property in a beautiful area of Tuscany outside Montalcino. The villa was perfect for our group of family and friends as there are separate apartments for the bedrooms, and the large shared spaces perfectly accommodated our group. The professional kitchen is far better than a typical villa and worked well for cooking our own meals. The on-site caretaker, Sica, was a great hostess and also a wonderful cook as she prepared a couple of meals for us during our two-week stay.
We had a fabulous stay at this villa in Tuscany. The views and space were beautiful. The host was great a answering any questions and also offered a local meal cooked in the home!
Genoten van ons verblijf in Casa Maria Luisa, zowel in het verblijf als de omgeving. Erg aimabele gastheer, die ons verwelkomde met aandacht en behulpzaamheid, met bovendien een klein welkomsgeschenk in de vorm van plaatselijke producten die we konden bereiden. Erg flexibel ook (door onverwachte omstandigheden later aangekomen) qua beschikbaarheid en oplossen van vraagjes. Alle nodige voorzieningen aanwezig, rustige omgeving, toffe restaurantjes in het kleine dorpje aanwezig. Uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de regio, zowel qua natuur als cultuur, dit naargelang het aantal KM je wil afleggen door de kronkelige wegen in de heuvels . Blij met onze keuze.
Mooi stijlvol huisje, met prachtig uitzicht op het dal. We zagen het ditect bij aankomst: zowel de buitenruimte als het interior van dit oude huis waren met liefde en aandacht onderhouden. Alles was schoon en compleet.
Die Ausstattung der Küche war nicht optimal. Aber wenn man selbst nicht kocht, dann geht es.

ci hanno chiesto una macchina da caffè tedesca perché dicevano che non funzionava e noi gliene abbiamo data un’altra che andava bene.
Abbiamo provato quella che loro dicevano non funzionante ma funziona.
Poi non si sono lamentati di altro.
Perfect for our needs, everyone was delighted. The owner, Stefano, is very kind and helpful. The pool was really appreciated. A very quiet and peaceful location with lovely views over the woods and hills.
