We had a wonderful time staying here and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. The villa had everything we needed and was well maintained. It is perfect for a family get together. The only comment I have is that it would have been great to be able to walk into the town but this wasn’t really possible as it was on a hill with roads with no footpaths that we could walk on.
We've been there for the second time and it was perfect as before. Located in the historic upper Certaldo you're nearby every spot you may like to visit (Siena, Florence, Volterra etc. are just 40km away ;) ) without being forced to have wine or dinner in crowds at the end of the day - the osterias and restaurants in Certaldo are highly recommended. As cosy as Certaldo is, is the apartment. It's amazing to live in your "own" palace with a private tower, The owners are very helpful whenever you've got a question but keep distance when you need it, in the apartment itself, which is clean and light, we missed nothing. The best place to be when you stay in Tuscany, this is exactly the place you always were dreaming of!
Die Wohnung hat eine sehr gute Lage ; ruhig und einen schönen Blick auf die toscanischd Landschaft ; sehr gut ist der große Pool. Als Nachteil haben wir empfunden, dass an den Fenstern keine Gardinen waren. Wir mussten deshalb die Läden fast immer ganz geschlossen haben . Insbesondere im Bad war das notwendig - leider gab es dann kein Tageslicht.

Lovely location, fabulous views and great pool. Villa itself needs a little tic - a few flower pots and new mattresses in the twin room. Couldn't see any smoke alarms and there are bars on the windows.
