Trés belle villa de grand standing.Il faut faire attention à l'électricité, 1€ le KWH, on nous a demandé 260€ pour la semaine!!! les propriétaires possèdent une Azienda Agricola à 6 kms à visiter.

[Counter comment from the house manager] As soon as the guests arrived the owner showed the 2 electricity meters and specified in written that consumption in the surplus would be charged at 1 euro per KW.
Villa Lauretana is a very big house not only inside but also outside, so it needs 2 electricity meters (220 and 380) and therefore it has a higher energy cost compared to other homes that are able to be fed with only 6,6 KW - only the elevator when running absorbs already 6.8 kW !
The owner states that some other properties equal to his apply more or less the same rates for the electricty and some even up to Euro 75 per day.
Overall, the villa is excellent. It is in a great location close to many small towns which you can easily visit on day trips. We particularly enjoyed our day excursions to Sienna, Cortona & Florence.
When we first arrived, there were a number of cobwebs which we needed to get rid of which was a little annoying. We also expected some "basic" supplies like dishwashing liquid/tablets, toilet paper, cleaning sponge/cloth. There was toilet paper but only half a roll in some of the toilets so we had to shop for those types of supplies immediately. In most self-catering accommodation those types of things would be supplied. The road into the villa is extremely bumpy and needs to be graded or smoothed as you felt like you were going to have the car tip over in some spots. The toilet & shower in the main house also leaked, so we needed to use towels as bathmats to stop the water at times.
Other than those minor grizzles, everything else was perfect. The villa & annexe are spacious and the kitchen is generally well equipped. Beds are comfortable. The host was helpful and friendly.
Het huis is ideaal om met kleine kinderen te verblijven. Alles is op de gelijkvloers, en een paar kleine afstapjes naar de tuin toe. Het deel voor privé gebruik is volledig afgesloten, zodat de kinderen niet zomaar naar het zwembad kunnen lopen. De grote tuin is heel aangenaam, het zwembad wordt elke dag schoongemaakt en is zonder chloor. Het huis is heel koel en er zijn twee overdekte parkeerplaatsen. Eten kan zowel in de zon als onder de pergola. De eigenaars zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. We zijn zonder problemen vroeger mogen inchecken en later mogen vertrekken en mochten van alles onbeperkt gebruik maken. Het was echt een heel aangenaam verblijf!
Enige minpunt: huis was bij aankomst niet echt grondig gekuist.
Nous avons passé des vacances formidables a la Puzzola. C'est l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer et pour les enfants qui se sont amusés comme des fous dans le grand jardin et la piscine. Nos hôtes étaient vraiment très attentionnés et gentils. Un grand moment de bonheur!!!

Emplacement idéal dans la campagne toscane à seulement 30 mn en voiture de Florence et à distance facile de San Gimignano, Sienne, Pise. Un bar et une petite restauration de bonne qualité, une piscine très agréable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Die Zimmer und Bäder sind in einem sauberen und renovierten Zustand. Es stehen ein großer Gemeinschaftsraum und eine Terrasse mit einem Tisch für mehr als 20 Personen zur Verfügung. Die Vermieterin hat für unsere Reisegruppe auf Nachfrage zu einem sehr guten Preis-Leistungsniveau ein italienisches Menü zubereitet. Durch die abgelegene Lage im Nationalpark sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Gastronomie nicht in Fußreichweite erreichbar. Die erhöhte Hanglage erlaubt dafür einen schönen Ausblick auf das die Täler und Berghänge des Casentino. Ein kleiner Swimmingpool ermöglicht sportliche Betätigung für Kinder.
