Descriptif de la Propriété
Grande ferme située à environ 30 km de Florence avec plus de 100 hectares de bois et d'oliveraies. À l'intérieur de la propriété se trouvent 6 appartements caractéristiques qui ont été rénovés avec goût, tout en conservant le charme et les caractéristiques de l'ancienne architecture rurale et des matériaux anciens. L'ameublement est simple, de style rustique, en parfaite harmonie avec l'environnement.
Les appartements 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 et 6 sont situés dans un petit hameau composé de 2 fermes datant du 15ème siècle, d'une grange et d'une charmante et originale taverne obtenue à partir d'une cave datant de 1200 et caractérisée par des murs en pierre et des plafonds voûtés (possibilité de déguster des plats traditionnels toscans, les produits de la propriété et les célèbres vins de la région).
La ferme, qui produit de l'huile d'olive, des saucisses, des fromages et du bétail, est située dans une position dominante et tranquille sur le flanc d'une colline et jouit d'une belle vue sur la vallée en contrebas.
À l'intérieur de la propriété, il y a une belle piscine, un grand barbecue avec une grande salle à manger et une terrasse avec une connexion Internet (WI FI).
L'accès se fait par une route non goudronnée de 200 mètres.
La Fattoria i Ciliegi est le lieu idéal pour ceux qui souhaitent découvrir la nature et la vie à la campagne.

Ferme Pédagogique : pour les personnes séjournant à la ferme, celle-ci reste ouverte et peut être visitée tous les jours, sans besoin d'accompagnement. Vous pouvez également accompagner et aider le personnel (le matin et le soir) à ramasser les œufs et à nourrir les animaux.
RESTAURANT "La Taverna" : si vous voulez goûter la vraie cuisine toscane et déguster d'excellents plats, vous ne serez pas déçu ! Vous pouvez manger à l'intérieur des anciens murs de la taverne ou à l'extérieur dans une zone équipée de tables et de chaises tout en admirant le paysage typique de la campagne toscane.
Petits déjeuners : la Taverna est ouverte tous les matins de 8h30 à 10h30 pour ceux qui souhaitent un excellent petit déjeuner composé d'ingrédients frais provenant de la ferme ou des fermes voisines.

À la fin du cours, les participants et leurs familles peuvent déjeuner avec ce qu'ils ont cuisiné. La durée du cours est d'environ 4 heures, déjeuner compris.

L'accoglienza è stata molto buona.La strada per raggiungere il casale è difficoltosa, stretta e in salita. L'appartamento è molto spazioso, ma due stanze hanno problemi di umidità quindi con odore sgradevole.

Sehr schön gelegen an einem Berghang zwischen Rufina und Acone. Ein Kleinod mit sehr schönen und stilvollen Appartments mitten in einem prächtigen Olivenhain. Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Frühstück, italienisch üppiges Abendessen begleitet von köstlichem Wein. Allein das hier produzierte Olivenöl ist schon die Reise wert.

We've recently returned from a fantastic two week stay and have to say, had an amazing time. We were looking for somewhere to stay where we could take our dog, where we could chill out in the sunshine, yet where there were places for us to visit and things for us to do... Quite specific really. We booked 'ulivo' (#3) and my first first impression when I walked though the door was 'how delightful'! So cosy, self contained and with amazing views from the patio and bedroom. The accomodation was perfect for us. We were tucked away a little, which meant our pooch had an incredible amount of freedom. She was sooo safe. She never goes too far, but even so there are few places I've been in the uk where I've felt that she has had so much secure safe space to sniff, chase birds and potter to her heart's content.
The location is beautiful. Peaceful and full of wildlife. We had an owl living living under our window sill and saw a wild deer and porcupine during our stay. We walked every day, which was a great way to explore the surrounding area - there are some good hills that get the heart beating! Helped counteract the effects of all the amazing food!
Food - the dinners provided are amazing and not to be missed. We went to the welcome dinner on our first night, also the Tuscan meal and the pizza night! I thought I was going to burst! The food was delicious and plentiful... I was amazed at the generosity .. And as a veggie was spoiled rotten with dishes especially cooked for me. For a change of scenery, there is a restaurant in Acone, about 20mins steepishwalk away - loved it, you can roll down hill afterwards.! Also, the restaurant in the main square in Rufina was fab! Great food, always packed with locals yet despite this, quick efficient service with a smile. Great ice cream in Florence, but cheaper in Siena!
I would definitely return, the other guests helped make our holiday extra special, as did the efforts that Gabio, Laura and the team went to to ensure we had the best of holidays. Thank you to all for your warmth, hospitality and generosity, you're the best! :0)

We had the same positive experiences as detailed in most of the reviews. Don't want to repeat all insights/aspects already mentioned here, what we personally found very good was the friendly ambience and the nice places seen on our horse riding tours.

Just back from an amazing week here. The scenery is Amazing, the moment I looked out at the view from our bedroom window I was in heaven.
Gabrio and Doreena prepared amazing Italian cuisine, you need a big appetite to do justice to the delights put in front of you .
Sharing with family was a lovely touch,at dinner we met Tessa ,Gabrio's daughter,his Father,Grandparents and Mother all lovely people. Vincent's shared his own Chianti Rufina a delicious home grown wine !!!!!!
The fun shared with no Italian/English , led to sign language that was such FUN.
Gabriel and Laura encourage you to laugh with them. Gabrio loves his audience and Doreena joins in too.They have a zest for life , but who wouldn't in such a gorgeous place.
The food is delicious, my husband moans about Pasta at, but ate all with gusto also drinking the lovely red wine.

Avec un enfant de moins de 2 ans, ce type de vacances est tout à fait adapté. Le site est magnifique, et calme. Après 10 minutes de route escarpée dans les montagnes, on est pas loin des grandes villes de Toscane (1 heure de Sienne, Pise; 30 minutes de Florence).
L'accueil est parfait avec des personnes très gentilles. La possibilité de repas tous les deux soirs à la taverne du gîte est très pratique (et c'est délicieux), pour pas avoir à se faire la nourriture tous les soirs.

We went with our 2 teenagers to Acone. It was just great ! The complex is located in the middle of nature, olive trees, wineyards, and a mile away from the tiny village of Acone and around 4 miles aways from small city of Rufina. The road to get there is narrow, but it is worth the trip. Around the complex, there are tracks perfect for hiking or jogging. The apartments are located in an old bulding, with all necessary appliances. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Our teenagers managed to rent a tennis court in Acone.

It is now september and we are still in "Il Giardino State of Mind".
Loved the welcome from Laura "relax" and so we did!
We chose the place because of the views. We were not disappointed ... Loved waking up to the morning view of the olive fields!
We LOVE ... LOVE the place, the view the atmosphere, our dog became friends with Kiko. But most of ALL WE LOVE THE PEOPLE that made sure we had a GREAT TIME!

We are still enjoying our pecorino & our golden drops of olive oil.
