While the actual home was lovely and as pictured, the overall property was completely misrepresented by the listing. There is a condemned, rotting house that takes up half of the entire backyard view that is not shown in any of the pictures. It was intentionally left out because it makes such a horrible impression! The backyard was not as pictured here, so don’t be fooled. The entire yard and pool area IS NOT what you see on this listing. It was extremely uninviting. We were a group of ten people, and no one ever used the pool in six very warm days. No one wanted to be out there!
The house was lovely, although there was a large vase full of dead flowers in the dining room and other dead, dusty, and smelly plants were throughout the ground floor. The kitchen was good, although I had to ask for dish towels and there wasn’t a decent knife for cutting anything! It appeared that many of the kitchen items had been left by prior renters or used, damaged, and never replaced. The one ice tray in the villa was cracked and wouldn’t hold water. When I asked for another, I was told that I could buy one at the store.
We did use the train stop right behind the villa several times — it is very convenient, but it is immediately behind the house. While this home appears to be in a tranquil, quiet setting, the train is on one side and a very busy road is on the other. Breakfast conversations centered on the noise from road construction and the train the night before!
On the positive, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The black and white bedroom/bathroom has a lovely tub and is beautiful. If you don’t need every bathroom, choose one with a shower door or you will have water everywhere as the shower curtains do little to keep the water in the stall.
When I mentioned these things to the gentleman at check out, he nodded his head and said that he hears these things every time. It is fraudulent to keep this posting up as is, especially given the condemned house that overshadows the entire outdoor experience. This is my first and only experience with Easy Reserve, but we have rented many times through VRBO and AirBnB. I have never left a review like this for any property. It will be interesting to see how Easy Reserve responds, if at all.
