A truly wonderful experience staying at Villa Pedone. I booked it for my 50th birthday. We were a party of 14 and our experience overall was fantastic, we had dinner served a couple of nights which was great value, very well presented and the food was fabulous too. Duccio was a great host, very informative, responsive and helpful. The house is in a beautiful setting with great views at every turn a truly beautiful place to stay with tonnes of history & character. We had access to the pool which was essential for our stay in July. My only suggestion is that you bring bug repellent when staying during the hot months. I would highly recommend staying at Villa Pedone for private parties or family holidays. You will love it. I really hope to stay again.

We loved it! All sixteen of us! It's the best of town and country: the front door opens onto the main street of the small village, and the back has the most glorious vista of Tuscany--and a pool as well. Funky charm and plenty of room for all of us--the eight bedrooms, huge dining room, big kitchen with one prep table, one table to sit around, several living/sitting rooms, lots of bathrooms, a big balcony, and a separate huge terrace. The parking for our four cars was tight, but doable. It would work better with four smaller cars or three mid-size. We definitely recommend it.

We had a wonderful week. There was plenty of space for 12. We enjoyed the pool in the hot afternoon. Our favorite place was the covered outdoor area. We ate and gathered under the covered area. The view was beautiful. The bedroom and bathroom arrangement was great. We all had plenty of space. It was very hot in July. We could have used more fans for heat and keeping bugs away. We would highly recommend!!

Ist sehr zu empfehlen. Terrasse im 2.Stock hat wunderbare Aussicht und Wohnung ist klein aber für 2 Personen ideal.

The house is situated up the hill with gorgeous views, a great pool and a lovely garden. We can very much recommend this place!

Fantastiskt hus med underbar utsikt. Rent. Mysigt. Toppfräscha badrum. Finns inget att klaga på.

The service of the agency was excellent; easy to find - they where waiting for us with the key. The flat was very clean.
Only the dishes were very sparse and very simple - for 2 people it was limit: there were only 2 wine glasses ... the remaining dishes were cheap thrown together ... there you could invest - value for money... A wonderful castle in a very rural setting. Accommodation luxurious and our meal in the restaurant was fabulous. Will definitely return.

We had a great time at Villa La Fragola , house was very good and the garden with swimming pool was excellent . The province was allso great and provided lot of intresting places for visiting

Comfortable villa in a beautiful setting, albeit rather a long and bumpy trip from the main road.
The house itself was comfortable and roomy enough for the seven of us who stayed there.
We felt the kitchen could have been better equipped. There were two very small coffee machines , totally inadequate for seven. There were no salad serves or sufficient kitchen utensils. We bought a spatula as there wasn’t one. We complained about the dishwasher we couldn’t get it to work but we’re told it was an industrial one as guests broke domestic dishwashers. We had to ask for tea towels.
We thought there would be a change of linen and towels during our two week stay but there wasn’t. Pool towels were charged at 4 euros each. We ended up buying our own rather than pay that. It would have beeen helpful if it had been pointed out that pool towels were not included.
Outside the pool was well maintained and the garden delightful. However the pool furniture was ofpoor quality and dilapidated. Some sun beds were unusable. The sun umbrellas were very difficult to put up as one had to be extreme till to reach the mechanism.
Reception was chaotic at best. On our first evening we were asked if we wanted dinner in the restaurant and we said yes. When we turned up there was a wedding going on and no one around interestedi infeeding us! The following week we attended a buffet dinner in the complex. The food was served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery. The food was ok but completely marred by this. Bottles of wine and soft drinks were left on a table but there was no price list and we were unsure if drinks were included in the cost of 25 euros or not. The whole event was shambolic.
