A very special house.
Beautiful house, very nice owner. Owner and his wife did everything to make our stay nice, but we could not understand each other.
Contactperson was difficult to reach, and when we reached him his reaction was short and brutal.
We found 2 times cleaning the pool in a period of 3 weeks with temperature over 30 degrees not too much.
But he said we have to keep calm, it was no problem!

Villa Rose del Chianti was a slice of heaven. From the moment we arrived on the property relaxation took a strong hold on the entire family. Our merry band of seven (three adults, four kids) could not have been happier with our stay -- unless there was a chance to make it last longer than our planned two weeks.
From the delicious lunch that greeted us (mom is a fantastic cook), to the care in helping us find the right tours in Tuscany, to the proximity of the owners when we needed extra support, absolutely everything was perfect.
Using Villa Rose del Chianti as our "base" while in Tuscany was a bit of divine planning. We were able to spend full days exploring (Pisa, Lucca, Florence, San Gimignano, Sienna and Elba) juxtaposed with days lounging by the pool splashing and playing.
The villa itself is stunning. New construction built with care and thought to serve as a true home-away-from-home. Being able to make a proper homecooked meal without missing a step from the fun of the pool and vistas made it easy to be a stress-free mom.
And, the views. Greeted each morning with views of the gorgeous mountains and working olive groves gave our morning coffee routines a whole new (and much more rationale) pace.
We can not recommend Villa Rose del Chianti enough to anyone looking for an Italian holiday. We loved every second of our stay and can not imagine a more perfect way to make lasting family memories.
L'appartement est très sympa, la propriété est superbe et Certaldo Alto est un très joli village typique! Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable ! La propriété est un véritable "palazzo". Le fait de pouvoir se garer sans problème dans la cour du palais est un vrai luxe.
La propriétaire, qui vit sur place, est très sympathique, accueillante et bavarde ;o) !
Certaldo est très bien placé pour visiter la Toscane. La ville basse par contre n'est pas très jolie mais ça n'a pas d'importance : une fois dans le village haut, c'est magique !!

house and garden are very well maintained.
we have been there 8 adults and 2 babys. it is place enough for all without disturbing each other.
the housekeeping lady, Mery, is perfectly taking care of everything, always friendly and reading wishes from the eyes of the guests.

The villa is absolutely exquisite. Refined interior, large pool and overall relaxing. Minors: you can hear the road nearby and the beds are not really comfortable.
We loved this home in Cortona! It had a great location right on the main street, steps from the shuttle and taxi drop-off area. The home is organized vertically with a stone stairwell that spirals up the center. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated. And, the view from the home is stunning! You can walk to a park, restaurants, and stores. The owners were very kind and helpful. We hope to return someday!
